GENERAL GAS ANALYSIS Method
MA-1105
Samples may be collected in aluminised bags or
other suitably prepared containers such as gas
cylinders. A sample volume of 4 litres or more
is required.
Carbon monoxide is confirmed by infrared analysis.
If less than 4 litres of gas is supplied the lower
reporting limit is 0.001%
Ranges indicated may vary depending on actual
gas compositions. Turnaround time for General
Gas Analysis is typically 12 working days from
receipt in our laboratory.

SULPHUR GAS ANALYSIS Method
MA-1113
Samples should be collected in Tedlar bags. The
gas should be dried prior to collection. This
involves passing the gas through an anhydrous
sodium sulphate drying tube. If required, we can
provide prepacked drying tubes and tedlar sample
bags for a fee.
Samples should be submitted immediately after
collection for analysis. A gas sample volume of
500 ml or more is required. If elevated H2S
levels are present, reporting limits for the other
compounds may be raised.
The laboratory requires a minimum of 2 days notice
prior to receipt of samples. Turnaround time is
12 working days from receipt in our laboratory.

Sampling Procedures & Media
form an integral part of obtaining reliable results.
We work with our clients to ensure the sampling
& analytical techniques satisfy the “data
quality objectives”. In addition, we are
able to prepare and supply the right, solid sorbent
tubes, gas bags and canisters for sampling. |
