Instrumentation includes a number of High Resolution Capillary Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometers (HRCGC/MS). Sample introduction systems include a Gerstel, PTV injector using liquid nitrogen cold trapping for the analysis of solvent extracts from sorbent tubes and impinger solutions down to trace levels as well as a Perkin Elmer ATD 400 and Markes Unity Thermal Desorption System for measuring organics in air down to ultratrace levels.

In addition to GC/MS instrumentation we have LC and LC/MS instrumentation to support methods such as Carbonyls in air by USEPA TO-11.

MS Detectors provide superior sensitivity, increased specificity while reducing the possibility of false positives, false negatives and misidentification.
